Experience all of the profoundly beautiful wonders of nature the area of Bled, Slovenia has to offer. Nestled in the Julian Alps of the Upper Carniolan region of northwestern Slovenia, the emerald green Lake Bled has been described as a "fairy-tale" landscape lake due to its incredibly picturesque setting. In the center of Lake Bled lives a little town featuring a beautiful white church and historic castle that towers over the reflective waters. With snow-capped peaks & turquoise-green rivers, Slovenia is considered by many as the most beautiful country in the world, and just a bit of exploration here will show you why. This itinerary will have guests hiking through the woods in search of the local species of bear, kayaking through the transparent waters of the black hole caves, trekking along the naturally flowing pure mineral water springs, tasting some of the local cuisine and perhaps even sipping some of the delicious varietals of local Schnapps!

Today explore Bled, Slovenia's top attraction and one of the most beautiful Alpine resorts in the world. Bled is located right beneath the picturesque Julian Alps and boasts a moderate summer climate and thermal lake water. You'll make a visit to all the major attractions, amongst them the thousand year old castle perched on top of a steep cliff above the glacial Lake Bled. Castle terraces offer spectacular views of the lake and its tiny island in the middle, Slovenia's only island. We will visit it by taking a "Pletna" boat ride – a traditional wooden boat made only by local craftsman. Ring a ‘fortune bell’ and enjoy the mountains reflections on the lake, sun, peace and fresh air. Continue on with visit to Bled’s Vintgar Gorge, where wooden paths lead along the rushing Radovna river ending with the 26m high Sum waterfall, a fantastic display of nature.
Today you'll embark on a 1000 springs tour through the stunning natural mineral water springs. Experience the untouched Alpine world where we taste some of the purest mineral waters directly from natural springs, swim in the local lake, try some traditional food and combine it with optional archery and paragliding for some exceptional views, provided the conditions are right.
Following the tour, visit one of the most beautiful Alpine Valleys in Europe, the Logar Valley and do a short hike to the Rinka waterfall, where if you're feeling up to it, you can even enjoy a shower in the cool clear water.
Today you will kayak through the crystal clear waters of the black hole. Approximately 4 hours long, enter and return from the same starting and finishing point, with an original old mining train! An experience of its own, enjoy a 10min ride each way, to 500m below the surface. It’s a very exciting and unique experience to kayak on the bottom of the mine, which was flooded after mining was abandoned through various passages and galleries. It's a dynamic activity, with a bit of both hiking & paddling, so you are never cold! All the wetsuits, helmets, lights, etc. will be provided.
Dive into one of the most rare and still very much untouched wildlife regions in Europe. The brown bear is the king of the dense forests here and you will have a chance to take a peek into his natural habitat.
Enjoy the day at leisure to relax by the lake or wander the hilly bled area and surrounding villages.
