Singita Sabi Sand has been owned by the Bailes family who have acted as the dedicated custodians of this precious part of South Africa’s natural heritage since 1926. With the opening of its first lodge in 1994, Singita’s philosophy has been to protect large tracts of wilderness and wildlife populations for future generations.

Singita Boulders Lodge

Singita Boulders Lodge is set along the banks of the Sand River in Singita’s privately owned reserve within the Sabi Sand Reserve. The lodge is a celebration of the tranquility, space, and light which flows throughout this incredibly vast area. Inspired by the geometry of the boulders on which it rests, Boulders Lodge is an inviting oasis where organic interiors integrate seamlessly with the raw African beauty outside.

Singita Lebombo Lodge

Poised over one of Africa's most dramatic landscapes in the Kruger National Park's glorious south-east, Lebombo Lodge is set against a country that is abundant in water, antelope and big cats, with colours that shift with the changing seasons. Lebombo was created as a transient witness to the land, constructed of steel, glass and wood in reverence to the African expanse before it. Walkways snake their way along a ridge dotted with surreal euphorbia that praise the sky, to lofts clasped like eagles' nests to the mountainside. Sparsely adorned spaces created of wall-to-wall glass; the suites are places of interaction with a wilderness that echoes to the soul.
