Journey Through the Flavors of South Africa With Bon Appétit: Accommodations
Grande Roche
The immaculately restored Cape Dutch homestead at Grande Roche Hotel dates back to the 18th century, and offers guests a variety of sumptuous accommodations, which include 29 luxury suites and five executive rooms.
Each of their luxurious accommodations has been lavishly designed and decorated for the comfort and pampering of guests. They ensure that everyone who visits Grande Roche leaves with special memories of this unique estate escape - the treasure of the Cape Winelands.
The recently renovated manor house at Grande Roche Hotel is the heart of the hotel and home to the award-winning Bosman's Restaurant. A fusion of imaginative and innovative epicurean delights will tantalize the most discerning of palates.
The Western Cape is one of the world's most spectacular and diverse golfing destinations. Many of these lush, beautifully maintained Golf Estates have captivated the global golfing community and boast both local and international awards for exceedingly high standards, quality, design and professionalism.
The Cape Winelands and the surrounding countryside of the Western Cape is breathtakingly scenic and the mild Mediterranean climate ensures that rewarding and exhilarating experiences can be enjoyed throughout the year.
One&Only Cape Town
An urban-chic waterfront resort in the heart of South Africa’s most vibrant city. Tropical and secluded, the new resort is an oasis of elegance amidst the bustling playground of one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities.
The resort’s serene island design and contemporary African flair finds a natural home in the heart of the fashionable Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. And with stunning views of Table Mountain and Signal Hill as well as a private spa island, guests enjoy the supreme location and lively energy of this gateway to South Africa’s myriad adventures.
Singita Lebombo
Like the Lebombo Euphorbia tree after which it was named, the design of Lebombo Lodge is one of a kind. From the sweeping wooden decks, you can watch the theatre that unfolds before you, while the lap pool beckons to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. The fifteen suites feature contemporary finishes with beds dressed with Egyptian cotton and silky-soft throws. Enjoy dinner in the boma, then spend the evening, if you so wish, sleeping under the stars on the bed of your private terrace.
Singita Sweni
Sweni Lodge was influenced by the structures of dens, warrens and lairs found in the area. Flanking the Sweni River, this tranquil sanctuary is elevated on stilts with decks of timber. Even when you’re indoors, you’ll have the sensation of being close to the river and trees.
The six secluded suites, with tactile furnishings, have been carefully created to bring in the textures and shades of the bush. Designed with open-plan living in mind, your suite flows from the bathroom area, through to the lounge and into the bedroom – yet if you wish, each area may be sealed off by curtains. Try the outdoor shower overlooking the river or – for a magical experience – ‘camp out’ under the stars on the day bed out on your viewing deck.
