Tanzania: Tarangire and the Uncrowded Serengeti: Accommodations
Arusha Coffee Lodge
Arusha Coffee Lodge lies cradled in the endless acres of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantation. This exclusive, boutique hotel lodge has been designed around the farms’ original plantation homes, radiating the warmth and invitation of the old colonial plantation homes historically distinctive to the coffee plantations. Luxurious accommodation, fine cuisine, and roaring fires, beckon to the most seasoned traveler.
The Arusha Coffee Lodge accommodation consists of 18 plantation houses lavishly furnished, featuring split-level living room area and a private deck patio. Offering every guest amenity and fancy, the Arusha Coffee Lodge is the place to relax and rejuvenate before or after a Tanzanian Safari. Laze around the swimming pool, enjoy a sun-downer at the Safari Bar, unwind after a delectable meal in the lounge with a good liquer and a fireside chat.

Sanctuary Swala Lodge
Sanctuary Swala is located in a secluded area of Tarangire National Park, arguably northern Tanzania's most interesting park, famous for the large herds of elephants and spectacular baobab trees - a fantastic choice for a Tanzania safari holiday.
Twelve tents surround the main dining area, deck and library which are lifted on stilts around an enormous and ancient baobab tree. There is also a stunning infinity swimming pool overlooking the water hole.
Each of the twelve luxurious canvas pavilions is shaded by tall acacia trees and all are within sight of the well-frequented water hole which regularly draws lions, leopards and resident bull elephants for which Sanctuary Swala is famed. The tents feature a spacious open plan arrangement with comfortable king or twin beds, campaign chairs and plush sofas, as well as en suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor shower. Each tent has its own personal attendant who will attend to guests' every need.
Exquisitely furnished with traditional materials, the tents at Sanctuary Swala are unashamedly luxurious but still close enough to nature to permit an exciting night under canvas.

Singita Explore, Mobile Tented Camp
Singita Explore is a true adventure that connects travelers to the earth like no other safari experience. Without modern day distractions, your safari is pure, distilled Africa, a return to the very essence of safari. Singita Explore is a completely exclusive, genuine mobile camp – a modern safari experience unlike any other. Everything about the camp is designed for minimal energy consumption with little environmental impact. With access to 340,000 acres of private land in the Serengeti, this back-to-basics camp guarantees closeness to wildlife and untouched landscapes.
Return from game drives to en-suite hideaways, where canvas walls frame contemporary details infused with the durable textures of Africa. Wholesome furnishings of steel, leather, rubber and natural fabrics remove the clutter of everyday life to offer a safari both luxurious yet uncomplicated.

Singita Faru Faru Lodge
Situated on a slope, basking in the abundance of animal species and birdlife around it, Singita Faru Faru Lodge lends a contemporary signature style to safari. Inspired by a botanical theme, this riverside lodge offers barefoot elegance in a laid-back rustic setting.
The organic lines of two rim-flow swimming pools echo those of a watering hole that lies just below. The elevated viewing decks over the watering hole allow guests to view game without even leaving their lodge, and a Swahili-inspired ‘beach’ offers the opportunity for some serious rest and relaxation. The contrast of stone and canvas against cutting-edge design and comfortable furnishings is integrated in eight open-style suites and one Villa Suite.
